Alkaline Phosphatase Test

Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) is present in a number of tissues including liver, bone, intestine, and placenta. Any increase or decrease of Alkaline phosphatae is significant or suggestive of liver, bone or vitamin D related disorders. This test can probably diagnose the hepatobiliary disease and bone disease.
